In this project For this project I had to design a bike light that could be injection moulded and fit the existing components inside. The component is shown below with the original bike light below on the left. I looked at another bike light shown below on the right to see how I could make a sliding top mechanism as this was something I was interested in achieving.
Below are some sketches and models I made for the product.
The project took visual inspiration from the Tesla lorry as it is bulky yet still appears streamline which is what I wanted from my bike light. For this I took lines that appear on the body panel of the Tesla lorry and translated them into my design.
