This was a group project where we were tasked with making the mechanism that lowers and raises the pen. It had to attach to the provided components and we had to adjust the angles the servo motor rotated at to suit our mechanism. Alongside making this we developed our knowledge of machining techniques as we made the metal components using a lathe and milling machine.
